Our Mission
TCK9 is an educational institution that teaches people how to communicate effectively with their dogs toward their desired goals. Our clients use our techniques to mold their dogs into everything from successful trial competitors and personal protectors to calm and loving housepets.
The History
— How it all began
TCK9 Director of Education Sidney Dozier created the TCK9 program from his 30+ years of experience working with performance and pet dogs, including:
- Working in the US Air Force with military working dogs while competing in AKC Obedience with Dobermans
- Training and competing in Schutzhund and French Ring, earning titles with Rottweilers, German Shepherds, and Belgian Malinois
- Promotion to K9 officer with the Chicago Housing Authority Police Department and working and competing with K9 Officers all over the US
- Competition in various sport dog events including PSA, NAPD, American Street Ring, PPDA, and more using all the above breeds, as well as pitbulls
- Importing, training, and selling working dogs to police departments
